Did they get in the meeting room and discuss how they should make the music sound like Masuda’s cat walked on a synthesiser? What the fuck I hate this OST but this one is the cherry atop the sundae of SwSh’s shit music library.

Considering the Route 10 theme sounding more like a beta Ultra Beast theme it's pretty clear they were going for rushing shit out with whatever they had at hand.

I actually liked that theme. They could have gone just ”epic, tremendous” approach you could find from any movie OST. But it’s different from that aspect, kind of has otherworldly theme going on IMO. You get feeling of abnormality of your opponent.
