Why wasn't this released on the 3DS instead? It's just a slight graphical improvement from them, didn't warrant a Switch release. Or at least could've released it on both systems.

Nintendo, not GF, determines the console that the next titles are developed for, because, you know, they make the consoles. And Nintendo has had plans to phase out the 3DS for years prior to the Switch’s launch (despite saying otherwise). The Switch is a consolidation of both their console systems and handheld systems, and the 3DS became obsolete the day it was launched. SwSh are on Switch because Nintendo told them to develop new games for it. They had no choice.

Every town is basically the same, the music is weak, and you do the same thing over and over again at every location.

Also Hop needs to realize that he needs to stop talking shit after the 10th time you beat him.

Also the online system is still fucked for joining raids and trading. Also what the fuck is the point of getting other players cards?

No way the 3DS can handle the wild area.
The 3DS even had trouble rendering multiple models in doubles.
SwSh probably started a 3DS game, which explains why the wild Area is so dumb down graphically.

Wild area was the last thing developed. They said they were inspired by overworld mons being so loved by the LGPE players that they decided to add overworld appearances in too. There is no way the wild area was going to be a 3DS area even without overworld mons. It would never have been able to handle that. I bet the wild area had no more than half a year of development time, which is why it looks so bad.
