Well Bronzong was kinda cool for a while I guess. And lucario and melmetal exist. If anything the ridiculous fire power creep is what is keeping it out of the spotlight right now. Also klinklang with plasma steel was neat.

I'd say go for it, Heck buy 2 even. Generally that's my plan at least to get some. With a new mechanic a lot of people are super hyped, and you can usually sell them quite easily, and get a lot of playable cards too.

Also unironically same, all the SWHS salt is so tiring, good to see the tcg is at least doing okay!

Snorlax is a single energy attacker that cannot be OHKO'd by any relevant deck in the format and does 210 easily, 300 in expanded. It's ridiculously powerful, just spam Dedennes and use PokeManiac, then Welder or Triple Acceleration and invalidate every non tag team/Vmax deck.

I don't think they'll do only Gigantamaxes. They only have 26 of them and would run out of new ones to print within a year.
Gigantamax is a sub-header on the card. It wouldn't be a surprise if they had other classes like Mega, Dynamax, or Primal.

it's not that the deck is overwhelmengly powerful, but it destroys any reason for people to use normal gx and single prizers. You still need to take 2-3 KOs against an ADP deck, while the use of altered creation will make it so they ALWAYS only need to take 2-3 KOs, and that's stupidly retarded. The fact is that most single-prize decks relied on the prize advantage to have the smallest chance against tag teams, and there it goes ADP ruining it.

Only really viable in the first few weeks of a set (not counting Japanese). The prerelease kit comes with a special promo card (one out of four possible ones) with the set logo on it and a code for the online variant (also random). This is pretty much all there is in terms of value (not counting possible GXs).
