This thread is a bunch of zoomers mimicking what they think that Gen 3 was about, when most posters itt's first games were Emerald or even Gen 4/5. It's disgusting.

You want a real story? I got Sapphire for my 13th Birthday. Hell I don't even remember how I heard about it, but I was so fucking excited. Nobody I knew played Pokemon anymore. That was basically only applicable during Pokemania. My guess is that I only knew about the new games because of the Anime.
