It always blew my mind that they didn't fix the mon distribution or the ridiculous level curve in HGSS. There's so much that they did right with these remakes, but they forgot to fix literally the 2 biggest problems with the original games. Why on earth did they do that? Because honestly if it wasn't for that, HGSS would probably be the perfect Pokemon games.

The Safari Zone and Pokewalkers were bandaids but really didn't fix shit as the Safari Zone is one spot instead of spreading the Johtomons across Johto and you're fucked if you lose the pokewalker.
