Dataminers confirmed it uses the LGPE engine. That image is probably from XY's development, considering it uses BW assets. I'm not even getting SwSh but you nignogs need to chill

Just because they have an alpha screenshot of something doesn't mean it was meant for the 3DS. Games always have junk alpha data leftover in their files.

Takahashi is an idiot. Don't listen to him. How can SwSh be modified 3DS games when Lets Go was specifically made for the Switch in mind. Explain to me how logical it is to go from the Switch, back to a dead console (being the 3DS). It's 2019, the 3DS has been effectively dead for about a year now and Game Freak always releases at the most two generations per device, and then move on to the next one.

and Game Freak have probably had Switch development kits for just as long. Obviously development cycles take a while but nothing points to SwSh being designed for the 3DS. In fact, SwSh points more towards being designed for the Switch because it uses a modified version of Lets Go's engine.

Nah as a someone who really enjoys the game, I don't mind people being critical towards it, I too think the games have a lot of problems and clearly were rushed out like usual (imo they cut nat dex because they ran out of time and they still didn't have enough time to polish everything), but I still give it 8/10 rating for my personal taste, the problems that might make it 5/10 for you doesn't have as big impact for my enjoyment of the game, like I can wait a year or two for national dex without any problem and something like animations are whatever, I already turned off animations to grind shit more fast and will turn them back on for online ranked (some animations are amazing but most are pretty soulless for sure).

So yeah I dont mind people being critical because it might help to make the games even better, like they fixed a lot of the things people complained in the past this gen and I'm sure they will do it again for next game/gen, just don't be overly autistic and ridiculous when being critical and listen to the points of the other side as well. (and if stupid normies are leaving senseless comments that aren't proper arguments, just ignore them, normies are gonna be normies and stupid no matter what)
