>>41595372I don't know. I fucking love and fucking hate this franchise at the same time, no other games make me feel like this. Some parts are genuinely genius, and it feels like it's setting up towards something big, but it feels like you never quite get there and when you do it's pretty disappointing. But I do admit that everything leading up to that is hype as hell and worth it. The characters are pretty interesting, but the ones from the second game even more so, I feel they're more fleshed out. There's also the spinoff which makes this "god, I fucking hate this piece of shit" and "this is amazing, holy shit" feeling even more prevalent, and the villain there is 100x worse (as in evil, that meaning it's good) than the main games imo. The OST is 10/10 and the only consistently good thing in the entire franchise, it's incredible. I'd definitely say give it a try, I can't be really objective on which game is best or worst because the fandom is really torn in that regard and everyone has equally good arguments in favor of their favorites or when it comes to shitting on one.
