So let me get this straight. The whole reason we go raid Rose Tower and save the region is Leon is late for dinner and we're given the reasonable explanation that he's held up in a meeting.

Is that really the best lead in to the drastic action that follows?

I think it’s hilarious that there wasn’t really an evil team this time around. I was thinking she would be the big villain with her making bede collect all the rocks or whatever but it turned out she was just a stressed assistant

That doesn’t even lead to us saving us the region. We just come in at the end of the meeting and don’t affect anything. That whole part of the game is just pointless conflict.

I honestly wish the Eternatus plot was like, post game. It would be neat to have gotten a game where there is no cringy plot about legendaries and just another clean "you becoming champion" thing. Team Yell's lack of sportmanship would've been enough.

It's made worse by what you're saying OP. Leon is late, we're told why, and Hop is just like "NO NO SOMETHING'S WRONG"

And then Rose knew you'd try to interrupt so he had Oleana hide the keycard to play a game? What? Why did he know you'd crash the meeting? Why would he even care about something like that? What's the fucking logic?
