are the damage values altered in raids or something? ill hit with a 2x effective move ( on wailord for example just now) while dynamaxed, and it does the tiniest bit of damage (no shield) then my buddy hits it with some random psychic move from gardevoir and it does a sixth of its health?

he doesn't have it ev trained and if its around the same level.

There are HP breakpoints when they raise a shield. For example if a mon will raise its shields at 70% health then any attack will drop it down to 70% at most even if it would OHKO it otherwise

Raids basically have separate health bars, think of the main bar as being divided up into sections. At the time one section gets depleted, shields go up. You can chip through the shields after they show, but until they proc, you cannot move the health down onto the next section until you slap some shields.

The catch multiplers do apply, but the catch rate is just so low it seems like it does not work...
The best balls are:
- x3.5 Net Ball if its a Water or Bug Type
- x3.5 Repeat Ball if you have it already in your dex
- x3 Dusk Ball if you're at night (don't remember the hours)
- x2 Ultra...

can confirm that's what happens since my friend found a shiny Drednaw raid 2 days ago and we both caught it shiny, but this Hatterine isn't natural. Someone did a giveaway a few days after the game came out and gave away a bunch of battle ready shiny G-Hatterene, G-Grimmsnarl, and Ditto. I only managed to get the Hatterene though.

I wasn't my bro, Togekiss, for competitive play and can fully deck out a Togetic if I got it to level 100 to fix it's one bad IV (sp.atk).

Does using a level 100 mon ruin the fun of raids? Are they still challenging? Should I just scum to get one with better IVs or what?

No, they're not challenging at level 100, unless you're playing with NPCs and in that case it's just luck of the draw with them.
I struggle to see how they're fun, optimal strategy seems to be to just pick what move you're gonna use beforehand, give your mon a choice item and just spam till you're done

So I've been trying all night to get a Dhelmise raid and found the correct den for it and all but then I realized that the highest raids I was getting were 3 stars while Dhelmise is 5 stars. How exactly do we get higher leveled ones? Like how much further do I need to progress since my next gym is ghost shota?

All they need to do is modify the AI so it only uses attacking moves if the raid mon has shields up. That combined with removing Alfie's Wobbuffet entirely would literally solve 90% of AI problems. Replace him with a female Swimmer with something good because she's hot.

The Clefairy and Eevee both have attacking moves even if they don't favor them, so as long as the Ai was updated with that they would be fine. It's only Wobbuffet that needs to go. Also fuck the stylist or whoever she is that uses the Wishiwashi with only water moves on pokes with Water Absorb.

Online is way too slow with requesting stamps on its own. By the time i see a stamp it's probably already closed again.
One way around it is to set up a trainer card trade with a random pass code so you don't actually get anyone. but it seems to update stamps way more while looking for that.

This is correct. All it requires is an identical parent of the same species to know the egg move and the Pokémon in question to have removed a slot for a move, wait for an egg to appear then decline and the original parent will have the new egg move no breeding required.

There's a rare den with dreepy in rolling field. I think they let you into the wild area a bit too soon in the game (lvl10-12 when all the 1*raids are lvl 17-20).

Low. Probably 1/4 for raids where it is actually possible to have HA. Only den #65 spawns Indeedee that can have the HA. The other dens are locked to standard.
