Those, HGSS, Emerald, FRLG, and Platinum are the best mainline titles in the series. Any Pokemon fan owes it to themselves to experience them all.

Most certainly, there's 3 different battle facilities, a lot of postgame/daily content, etc. (Get White 2 if you're based, it has the better music)

it's a true sequel that saved Gen 5 from being a repetitive mess this damn franchise is known for. the only thing that keeps it from being a little better is that it throws old pokemon back in early game.

If you haven't played BW, sure. I was burnt out with gen 5 before finishing BW, and made it midway through B2W2 before quitting. It's the only game I haven't at least completed the league/E4 in, the game just didn't interest me enough to sit through the story. Supposedly the post-game is the best in the franchise.
