But seriously, it's the pattern. First versions of a new gen sell, everything that comes after doesn't even compare. That's part of the reason why I didn't accept the "well, Ultra Sun/Moon showed off everything and didn't sell" excuse.

Ironically, both of these have more polish than SwSh. The main issue is 153 pokemon vs 435.

Also, people are already reselling SwSh because they finished everything they wanted to do.
