I expect something similar to ORAS. Same as DP until you beat the box legend, at which point they give/upgrade your pokeradar and add in the rest of the platinum mons to old areas, along with a few of the GBA-slot pokemon you could find.

That might explain them choosing 400 as the titular number. Still, XY alluded to ORAS shamelessly. Sinnoh and Galar seem completely unrelated.

I don't think it's coming this generation. Too many gen 8 mechanics like dmaxing makes no sense in Sinnoh. Also even if it was a side game, we DID just have a remake of sorts last year
