>>41622518I like Galarian Mime's design because Game Freak went out of its way to legitimize its design changes as opposed to some random bs. For instance, it's hair is longer on the sides to emulate old British tap dancers with male pattern baldness. It is no longer a mime so it uses old fashioned white gloves instead of its pointed finger mime gloves. It has a small moustache for a similar reason. It is fatter to show that I is from an affluent region where food is abundant. And it's shoes are also tap dancing shoes. Since it no longer tricks or misleads people, Galarian Mime loses the Fairy typing. Since it lives in the frozen north, it gains that Ice typing instead but still uses psychic power to form floors to dance on. It is also wearing pants now due to the cold.
