Birds, roaming legends suck. I'd rather encounter powerful pokemon at the end of a dungeon than find them randomly only to have them run away. The regis are my favorite trio for how interesting and memorable finding them was. Birds are a close second

Bird trio because mono-types are boring. Left side was literally "Eeveelutions but bigger" while right side had somewhat more rarer typings.

Either way, Zapdos is my favorite of the six anyway.

Close, but I'd say the beast trio by a narrow margin. I like the backstory of them in gen 2 and the challenge of finding them. Still both of these sets are miles better than any other trio like the lake or the blatant copy paste in gen 5.
