Holy shit guys, OP never said anything about being angry or boycotting sword and shield, they're literally just asking for recommendations of what their sibling's kids would like for Christmas. Don't go projecting this retardation warfare on people.

They'll be able to get a more solid pokemon experience out of it, and they'll be able to talk and trade pokemon with each other and all their friends at school. LGP/E are great for kids but likely to sort of leave them behind most of their peers.
