Whereas the Stadium games allowed you to see Pokemon in 3D but only in battle, Hey You allows you to see them in their natural habitats but does not allow you to fight them. The two are good counterparts for each other if one or another starts to get dull.
Getting to see the Oddish grow from sprouts plucked out of the ground to house-sized Vileplume was an incredible feeling back in the day.
Unfortunately, the mic is programmed to only detect higher-pitched audio and a flat Midwestern English accent, so the game is actually unplayable for anyone who has gone through puberty or lives abroad. I have no idea why they thought this idea would be acceptable, but here we are almost twenty years later asking the same question.
