So.... Everyone knows that the reason why this isn't in SwSh is because GameFreak is too incompetent to have figured out how to code it into the correct Dynamax move.

It's probably also because it's unnecessarily obtuse to legitimately acquire the right HP on a competitively viable mon, another barrier for entry that they wisely excised from the game

Since they weren't able to make hp a max normal move, every pokemo would have a free max move with the type they wanted

They cut it because every special attacker in the game having a free coverage move of any type they want was dumb. And it led to retarded scenarios like Landorus running HP ice to counter itself. Also the fact its type was determined entirely by IVs was needlessly complicated. I'm glad it's gone.

Hidden power is piss easy to get with hyper training. The ditto 5 quest in USM had a 30 I.V for each stat among them for a reason.

Did HP have a Z-Move? If so, it would have been easy to implement as a Max moves (or set it to be Max guard if they were truly lazy)

I agree it was busted and stupid to have such an easily accessible move of any type for any special attacker though

Magnezone doesnt even need a fire move to kill ferrothorn. If it puts up a substitute theres absolutely nothing ferro can do to it and its free to repeatedly thunderbolt ferro to death.
