Because it just turned charizard into an angry large dragonite. It got fatter with smaller (virtually nonexistent) wings.

And thats just the design. Competitively its shit compared to regular dynamax zard due to its gmax move. Dmax charizard gives you the sunlight boost that gmax doesnt, so why would you even use gmax?

Except gamefreak have botched what makes eevee appealing. They've realized it's a popular pokemon, but not because of it's evolution, so all the eevee pandering has excluded its main draw.

Because Charizard is overrated and Game Freak/TPC is trying to have it steal the show since it's the "most popular Gen 1 starter."
I mean sure it'd be unwise of them to NOT lay it on thick with the pandering, but it's just grotesque with how hard they're pushing the issue, but everyone hates how much it's hogging the spotlight.

Gigazard has a pretty sick design, don't really understand /vp/'s taste but whatever. I think the hype faded because Dyna/Gigamax is such an underwhelming gimmick, and a lot of the gmax attacks are straight up worse than dmax. Why they cut Megas for this I don't know
