Having played it now, I'd say Appletun definitely has to be up there now. By far my favorite this gen and easily in my top 10. I'd say him over Torterra rather than Dragalgea. For one, I see him as more of a grass type than a dragon, and I have fonder memories of Dragalgea than I do Torterra since I had one in a tabletop Pokemon game I did in college.
Falinks also beats out Toxicroak for my top fighting. They're just so fucking neat in all regards. Also the first new mon raid I did so I got them really early which helped.
Perrserker also certainly wound up in my top 40 at least, but I don't think he beat out Metagross for me. He's certainly really fun and cool, but Metagross is just so much cooler especially with Mega Meta.
