Both of the opposing mons are getting free boosts while attacking you, you won’t know when it happens and even if you get your Toxapex in after one or the two of your mons are dead your opponent can nuke your hazer with his two mons. Dynamax is bullshit, stop defending it.

Exactly. Mega Evolution basically just reworked pokemon to make then usable. You just had play around that Mega-Pokemon now, which wasn't even all that hard since some pokemon, like Chomp, were still better then a lot of the Mega options.

Megas were good because it changed how a Pokémon played. Granted not everyone that got one needed to get one, but that's a different thing. Dynamax is better Z moves with shit like stat boosts and setting things. They're too good to have on every single Pokémon, because now everything that was good gets even better and now that stat boost came with a move that's even stronger than Z-Moves, and will just make sweepers sweep even better while letting them tank hits because their HP is better.
