Don't worry, even if they actually do fusion it'll be some dumb lazy shit like there being one dominant pokemon in the fusion and the fusion will just be the dominant pokemon with their appearance completely unchanged but they get one of the pokemon they fused with's moves and their ability or something and also they'll just have an aura around them.
