I just used a faster Pokemon to beat it. The first phase threw me off though. After you break his first shield he stops using obstruct. Also Taunt wouldn't have worked because he starts the fight with his shields up

It can be a crapshoot for sure. I reset so many times for G-Garbodor that I lost count. It was enough to get me over 1.5 million watts. It says it's a 5% chance to spawn. Meanwhile I got a HA Darmanitan to spawn within 20 resets, and that's a 10% chance to spawn. I'm sure it's just horrible luck but it's almost enough to convince you that something else is afoot.

FYI if you've got a shitton of watts you can convert them into money by buying stuff like Heal Balls and selling them. You turn 20k watts into 150k bucks, which I'm pretty sure is the most efficient conversion possible. TRs sell 1:1 and Wishing Pieces don't sell for shit.
