Don't they need mythicals to sell movie tickets, and sell to Gamestop for chump change. Don't get me wrong I fucking hate the concept of event exclusivity. But since TPC are ginormous assholes why would they cease to do this? Are they actually making the mythical Pokemon DLC?

And yet you still can't use new Megas or Primals in XY (other than Lati who were found in the game's code unused), or all the new mons from USUM in SM.

It's a new console. On LGPE they didn't need to hide the mythicals since they were available at launch.

Also, since they're breaking old traditions like national dex, people won't complain about requiring patches to trade pokemon locally too.
