no burial grounds, no hidden valleys, no hidden spots, no random dungeons like a random tower to climb or visit, no actual ruins to visit as a side dungeon, nothing
It's just route->city->route->mine->route->city->route->city->mine->route->city>route->city->forest->city->route->city...you get the idea
it's so bad, there is not even a victory road. Alola did bad in that department too, but at the very least, it had a fake VR in vast poni canyon (and they tried to expand mount lanakila in ULTRA changes)
SwSh literally has a hallway route(pic related shows the end of part1 of the hallway made of piled up snow, after this little area with grass/trainers, there's a 2nd portion of the hallway and then the route ends) standing between you and pokelondon (which is also halfways locked out and has nothing to do in it)
