Created a new gimmick since Dynamax is probably getting yeeted after this gen ends. Trainers receive a special gauntlet that can be equipped with type chips. The gauntlet absorbs the special energy that comes from pokemon attacks and uses it to power up the chip, releasing a flare.

Sync Change - a special transformation that happens when a pokemon knows a move from a type different of his own is charged with a Sync Flare. During a Sync Change, the pokemon temporarily acquire a second or third type, the Sync Type, which reflects on its extra bonuses. For example, a Sync Fighting Typhlosion will deal extra damage from his Brick Break, and will get some extra resistance to Rock types, but will be susceptible to more damage from Flying types. Meanwhile, Sync Rock Dragonite will get STAB from Rock Slide and resist a bit more to Ice types, but getting a little more of damage from Water types. Sync Changes last until the pokemon faints or if the player chooses to undo the transformation, and in this case, will be unable to Sync Change again until the end of the battle. Only one Sync Change can happen per fight.

Super Sync - Certain pokemons, when undergoing a Sync Change, will manifest a special change, with not only their body being modified but also accessing gaining access to a 5th move, Super Move. Super Moves can only be used once every three turns. For example, a Sync Steel Pikachu changes into a form that looks similar to Raichu, but with a metallic aspect, and gains the Super Move "Metal Zap", that deals damage and paralyze the target. Meanwhile, a Sync Ghost Bisharp would lose its armor and look like a ghoul, gaining the Super Move Phantom Slash, that always attacks first and has a high critical ratio.
