>>41660570It feels like an early concept still. I would much rather the biomes had fewer weather variants, and the transition between them was less drastic. Restrict the weather in some sections to what is thematically relevant, and the weather should change less frequently. Its impact on an area should be more relevant than just changing spawns too.
Also, optional dungeons in each area would be fucking grand. Especially if they were the only places that required the use of certain moves to traverse (Like HMs again). This should be a postgame thing, treat each one like victory road.
The thing is, I'm sure all of these ideas were discussed by the team, but cut due to them just not being competent. They've never really lived up to the potential they've had with some stuff in these games, and I'm certain its just due to their inability to get it done right.
