They should skip Sinnoh.
Each time there was a remake coming, I really wanted to replay that generation. I was becoming nostalgic about Kanto, Johto, Hoenn. I don't feel anything about Sinnoh, but I'm already wanting Unova remakes.

Remake is every other gen now. Gen 4 had Gen 2 remake. Gen 5 was a skip gen, then Gen 6 had Gen 3 remake. Gen 7 was a skip gen again just like Gen 5. Gen 8 would have Sinnoh remake. Then Gen 9 would be a skip gen, Unova remake and Gen 10 will come Switch 2 or whatever NIntendo next console is

This. I have little to no hope with Gen 4 and 5 remakes. They're my most favorite Generations too.

Seems like they do new gens on a 3 year cycle and remakes on a five year cycle. This wouldve put swsh and the dp remakes in the same year so the dp remakes will most likely be next year.

However if the 3 / 5 cycle continues then that would put the bw remakes in the same year as gen 10. So maybe they'll do the bw remakes a year earlier to rebalance the pattern. Either way theyre at least 5 years away.

Bottlecap and nature changer mint. Also BW had many kino places like Giant Chasm, Village Bridge, etc. Maybe megas or regional gimmick because BW starters are really underpowered

Sun and Moon and SwSh are simplistic, easy, contain hallways and small routes, annoying npcs that heal you and give you items, and are mostly pretty lazy. Any remakes we get that is faithful to the original will be better than mainline games. Even ORAS being mostly the same as ruby and sapphire was better than the recent trash

Unova remakes would cause me to drop the series for good. If GF was more competent like they were when they made HGSS then I'd be all for it. I don't even blame ORAS being shit on their laziness. ORAS is shit because it's a Hoenn remake. But they'll fucking gut Unova in remakes like they're gutting the first versions now. Honestly after the backlash BW got for not having older mons until post game you'd think they would've known better than to remove the national dex. Now they would make BW remakes without the natdex, maybe not even all Unova mons, PWT removed for hamburgers and hot dogs, Volcarona's ruins will just be a single room dungeon.
