The player pays to enter take the gym challenge but must do so through loans. Once the player has completed the gym challenge, they must pay a 50k pokedollars every day or all of your pokemon are taken and your game file will be deleted.

Other than marketing, the mc not being a kid is an issue for GF.
They would need to explain why a 18+ doesnt have a mon yet, not that big of a deal but hate coming up with actual plots and backstories.
