A meh fangame with zero thought put into the story, region and pokemon distribution but comes with a lot of features. Make sure you play on edgy mode so the story is at least somewhat funny

This. I started this while waiting for SwSh to drop and I have never had less fun with my team.
I started a new file a couple days later that's an egglocke and guessed picks through the named eggs (Like "Smogon Keys" and "Not Kanto" and "Anubis") and it's actually been significantly more bearable.

Overhyped and boring. Brings some interesting mechanics to the table, but the music is inconsistent and awful and characters are forgettable. Being in RPGmaker also brings over so many flaws that make the game tedious. Might be worth a play just to see all the delta species though.

I think the lead dev said he wasn't satisfied with the story around the time 1.2 first came out. Something about dumb deadlines, a bad ending idea pitch, and something else that I can remember

a game that basically hardlines you into using the delta mons and hilariously broken new megas with a story not edgy enough to be funny but not good enough to be charming
the difficulty is all over the place on every difficulty setting and the music is literally 90% stock essentials assets with a few original compositions that sound like some guys mixtape
only plus is modding in your own music for a kino experience

You can't catch Water Types until AFTER the gym, when you get the Surf device.

also,
every gym leader after him has 6 pokemon, including a MEGA. you don't get your Mega Ring until right before the third gym.

the Second Gym leader uses a fucking Mega Beedrill.

at least by Gym 2, you have enough options to fight the bullshit. but this battle's still super rough.
