Yup, SM had better sequel material than gen 5 imo and that never ended up happening. Remember all those empty construction lots? There are still a few empty ones in usum.

There were about 8 construction lots scattered around the alola towns of sm. People theorized theyd become gyms in a sm sequel once the alola league gained world recognition.

Fast forward a year and in usum some of them turned into those shitty photo clubs, while a few others remained empty. Massive waste of potential.

Where does SwSh fit in the timeline? In case of a sequel I want to know how far in the future we are compared to the gen 1 games.
Not asking for which multiverse timeline, just any sign of how many years have passed since any previous game

SwSh is the farthest along in the timeline

My guess is the DP remakes will take place at the same time as SwSh if they happen, so SwSh sequels will probably take place a few years after SwSh in the timeline
