Most areas look fine. Some look great, like Ballonlea.
It's really just the wild area that looks horrible. It actually looks worse than most 3ds games.

Its not LITERALLY upscaled 3DS graphics, it looks more like they just tried to make HD 3d models instead. Which isnt much better.
