I do have friends. Im just not gonna make him hunt specifically for a 2% encounter pokemon in the wild area only on certain days because of weather changes all for a pokedex entry. Especially when i could have just deposited something in the gts in exchange for it. He has better things to do

The list is just cut content, they went in the easy route of removing it entirely instead of expanding it and tweaking, i can imagine you can actually can come up whit a way of improving those 2 problems instead of removing them completely.
For Starters, Critical health could add some sense of urgency in the music without changing it completely, GameFreak knows how to make music, they can do something good whit that... and Roaming Pokemon can still be roaming but they don't run.

Your example on how to fix critical captures is a lot better.

But I still think roaming legendaries are garbage. If you're gonna make me chase a pokemon only for it not to run away, then just give it its own dungeon where it can be a static encounter.

Sword and Shield are considered the worst by some people due to the pathetic presentation of the game both visually and technically, as well as due to the blatantly poor lies regarding the development team's decisions in removing much of what makes the Pokemon world so great in the first place. When you look at the amount of content other developers pour into their games and then look at what GameFreak has done, it's infuriating how they're still allowed to touch this franchise.

Even if u argue friend safai, raids are miles better thant that.

It's the most profitable franchise of all time and its worst selling games still outsold games that were much more expensive to develop than anything GF came up with, dumbass. Better Tower (Maison) + Chateau
Raids aren't really that great, they are better than Friend Safari but honestly not by much.
It's no exaggeration to say that XY's post game has more to do than SwSh's.
If you don't like Raids then the Tower barely entertains without Super and Triple/Rotation battles.

problem with this argument is online trading is no longer a smooth process. yesterday i tried trading with my brothers on several separate occasions- every time randos sniped our codes and we didn’t load on each others stamps etc. every possible problem occurred- took over 30m to open the trades up.

Here's my honest review:

Lack of national dex gimps online play and makes the game feel hollow. Uninspired routes are short and don't offer much more than a path to the next town. Wild area is poorly implemented and ultimately a boring experience outside of raid battles. Raid battles provide little challenge and grant exp candy, TRs, and berries which can all be used to become too strong too early. No option to turn off exp, while I disagree makes overleveling easy, is annoying. Hop is literally just Hau. Sun and Moon style cut scenes for every new route make the game feel less like an adventure for ten-year-olds and more like an episode of Dora the Explora. The story is short and bland, makes no sense. The "evil" team exists only as a roadblock and Marnie is actually a kind and sweet girl. Characters are mostly boring. Battle tower is downgraded and post-game is almost non-existent

The games actually do look pretty good on Switch and I like the new pokemon and characters. Raid battles are fun at high levels and with friends. I give SwSh no more than 5/10

You are retarded if youre trying to argue whether or not they played the game. Metacritic user reviews are only used to validify eachothers sirclejerking. The user reviews were at 3.6 within an hour of the games release, and everyone had prepared their long written essays by then, Over half of the reviews are still from day one, and you know the odds of people finishing the game by then are minimal, and reviewing all the content in detail by then is virtually impossible. With time the user reviews have only increased from then. Arguing that the game is a 2-4 is equally retarded. The game is not broken in any way besides the laggy populated. The problem with the game is its mediocrity story wise, and them cutting the pokemon. The current scores are for games which are practically bumfuck broken or has such a dull mess of a story its unplayable, which Sword and Shield isn't anywhere close to being
