I don't know why leech life is so strong now, not complaining. Blaziken for the sole fact they wanted to dick suck it while still not buffing the other two much. The Knock Off buff is fine. If people's problem with it is the power boost, which is what made it start getting used in the first place, it's a 1 time boost. Fire Blast, Blizzard and Thunder are almost just as strong and while they have less accuracy, they have that power consistently. If the problem isn't the power boost but that the target loses it's item, as so many people have claimed is the problem, then there's no problem considering it's always done that.

because not only does it not make sense, but Steel's offensive buffs were a bad idea to begin with. Dragon and Fighting were cucking over nearly everything in Gen 5 due to heir utter lack of natural counters, if they hadn't gotten a nerf, they would have continued to do so. Fairy was handled poorly, but not a bad idea in the slightest.

It was buffed pretty hard in all honesty. In Gen 5 it was 20 power, in Gen 6+ it was buffed to 65 meaning the damage boost was even more ridiculous since it had actual damage to back it up, on top of Steel being nerfed to not resist dark/ghost.

Whenever Explosion was used, it did its damage calculation based on half of the opponent's defense stat. To basically explain it, Explosion in earlier gens did damage as a 500 BP move even though it states it's 250

I'd be inclined to say Talonflame's Gale Wings nerf (To where its borderline useless) and Aegislash's stat nerfs (Why would you simply remove 10 points from Aegislash's Def/SpDef or Atk/SpAtk expecting much to change? Also why the fuck is Doublade now even without Eviolite bulkier in defense than the fucking shield form of Aegislash? That makes no fucking sense!) but Darkrai's nerfs to Dark Void have to be the worst. All they needed to do was make Dark Void Darkrai only but they bumped the accuracy of it so low that Darkrai is practically useless now. I hated Darkrai for Dark Void spam, but taking it as far as they did is too far even for myself.

Mimkyu only takes the damage if at full HP, if it already lost HP from status/hazards/contact damage/etc then it doesn't take any damage when Disguise breaks. The mechanic just exists to remove Focus Sash Mimikyu, since apparently that was too strong in VGC or something. Otherwise the nerf barely matters.

The issue is that GameFreak were idiots. Dragon is a shit offensive type, it only hits other dragons for super effective. And defensively it isn't so hot either. The reason dragon types are busted is because they are given massive movepools and typically are given good stats. Even before fairy, you didn't see Flygon or Altaria all over the place because they sucked
