never because anybody interested in playing them either still has their copy from ages ago or emulates it. Why buy it on the switch when I can play it on my phone for free? Plus, I can play fan games and romhacks on my PC/phone.

It'd be really fun if they released all five of the GBA games on switch, then had mystery gift events for things like Mew and the coliseum/XD exclusives. They'd get away with charging $30 per game if it had full online capability and bank/home trading (not saying they should, but a lot of people would jump in at that price).
