Tried Renegade Platinum, but dropped it pretty quick, because of how boring it was.

Sword. Competitive teambuilding has gotten easy enough that playing on cart isn't a total pain in the ass anymore and rentals make it so even children are able to come at you with something other than their box legendary and their in game team. I'm pleasantly surprised with the doubles as well so even though the post game is "barren", I can't stop playing it.

When I get bored I'll probably go back to one of the Drayano hacks.

PMD Blue - going to the three fields to collect the feathers and make the rainbow wing
Fire Red Gaia - just got past the first gym and I'm enjoying it so far.
There's a lot of variety in the pokemon you can catch so early on.
I picked Turtwig and then realized I'm probably not gonna have a fire type for a while.
Turns out the first dungeon forest you go to is filled with ghost types, one of which is Litwick.
Got my fire and my ghost type already. Good shit.

I just found out that Citra has reached the point of being able to play all 3ds pokemon games, so I binged X and Omega Ruby. Gonna start Sun soon.
