>>41714916>graphics not a flawok. I'd agree with you, but some textures (like the trees and cave walls) look terrible when previous games did it better.
>animations not a flawone of the reasons the dexcut happened was to improve on animations. sure, some moves animations were changed and look better (like Guillotine and Shadow Ball), along with outright new moves looking very nice (Scorbunny's signature looks rad), but a good chunk of already-existing moves
that survived the move-cut still look the exact same.
>retread characters not a flawyou may be right on this one. I can't fully comprehend what it even means, so it must not be important at all.
>designs are subjective opionionstrue.
>battle gimmick relevanceit's relevant because this is the third time GF introduced a literal game-changing battle mechanic/gimmick, except this time they removed the previous two.
not gonna discuss whether Dynamax is just a combined version of both megas and Z-moves to warrant the removal.>linear map subjective opinioncompletely wrong. you don't look at a design choice and think it's "subjective" when you describe it, it's objectively true.
not gonna discuss this was the case because the Wild area was introduced, or how the Wild area looks.>missing features not a flawthinking this isn't a flaw makes no logical sense. still,
>>41714659 could've listed the alleged "several massively requested features" to help their argument point.
>no post isn't a flawthis seems like a grey area of subjective or not. most of the time Pokemon's post game is X hours in a tower of some sort battling, very few introduced unique post-games (DPPt's is an entire island + tower, ORAS is the Delta Episode). not even gonna bother going into the literal bare-minimum post-game of completing the dex, shiny hunting, or getting competitive teams.
