>almost all of the human characters outside of the adventures manga have personality of dried paint aside from the rockets and oak!
>in the 90s they looked like abject shit, and are sto;; drawn worse than most other anime
>unique and interesting monster designs are reduced to underlings at best, and toddlers who can only shout their own names at worse
>most of them honestly add nothing to the story and don't captivate anyone at all

I mean let's be real, no one gave a fuck about any of the humans when the series first started out, we all came for the pokemon.

It honestly should have been a deal similiar to transformers, thundercats, or any of the humanless shit of the 80s and 90s.
