Gen 2 Ice Beam looks and sounds super pretty, while Aeroblast just feels like the most powerful attack in the series. The way the colors invert and the beam charges up/focuses gave me chills the first time I saw it. Honorable mention to Gen 1 Psychic, which really gives the impression that the target is being messed up with some truly crazy mental energy.
>>41715016Every Aeroblast animation that I've ever seen outside Gen 2's is so neutered that it's almost kind of insulting. It's like they figured Aeroblast just looked way too cool compared to the other moves and overcompensated.
