yes but it could have been even better.
you need to widen the scope and have more routes, trainers, gyms and towns. Pkmn needs to fucking stop trying to appeal to babbies and toddlers anyway and as long as it doesn't we'll always get only a glimpse of what a cool region can be. Past Gen 5 everything is a nightmare so the sooner somebody buys Pkmn and puts it on all handheld systems available and PC/Steam/Android as well and has somebody decent developing and provides a toolkit the better it is for the series.

It was certainly the most complex designed region. Though as well designed for gameplay as Hoenn and not the best aesthetic wise since many areas are just in a grassy plain
