>>41720468>All gunlances can slash the same way as that lance that you have there regardless of them having that type of blade on that end.The first video was a lance, the second was a gunlancer, gunlancers looks often being sharped blade attatched to a gun, while lances are more similar to real-life knight joust lances. The gunlances shows how you can slash with them, but the first video that dude just does thrusts, those looks like different weapons in-game, both aesthetically and moveset, but maybe i'm wrong and they have the same moveset and the first video just showed the thrusts.
Also here, we can argue about how MHW is not considerable a source because it's not realistic. And even there aren't any joust lances with the straight back point.
