I'm running a support Obstagoon with Trick, Knock Off and Parting Shot to dea lwith some stallmons and it has worked really well for me anon. Try that a try if you have the time to train one.

I don't remember EVs exactly, but I know I invested in Def and Speed to make it be able to Trick a choice-scarf onto some monster or Parting Shot the hell out of the battle if it's something Obstagoon can't deal with.

The only other trainer that had a theme team was Steven Stone, he had pokemon based around geology, I thought it was very cool that it wasnt just a steel or rock team

I’m running this set, Adamant with max HP and Attack, Assault Vest. Hit something with Drum Beating and it does respectable damage while lowering speed. Finish off on turn 2. It’s pretty killer as a lead in 3 v 3.

Pyro Ball is just physical Fire Blast with no drawback and 90% accuracy. I think it's because Rillaboom got Wood Hammer and Inteleon got Hydro Cannon so Cinderace, being a shilled starter and GF's favorite, need a new fire move that's better than Flaze Blitz.

Not sure if this is the best source for inspiration but Leon in the Tower uses a Rillaboom with Grassy Surge, Leftovers, and Leech Seed, which I though is quite a bit of potential HP to just get back every turn. Other than that its just your generic offensive stuff, I'd think.
