Cursola has 145 base SpA. It blows my mind people are choosing eviolite over it. Just trick room into an easy sweep. For Doubles I can atleast see Cursola being a monster

Cursola also has 50 defense. Even without Eviolite G-Corsola is tankier where it matters. It also gets a less memey ability.

Cursola is extremely mediocre, it's a slightly stronger but much slower and frailer Chandelure with fewer switch-ins, he's RU at best. Corsola with eviolite instead is a legit OU monster that's gonna join the likes of Chansey, Ferro and Toxa in the pantheon of stall gods.

Confirmed for not actually having played trick room. Anyway, other anons are right, Cursola isn't very viable. One crazy offensive stat doesn't automatically = good.

I can at least use Toxic on this one if I want to.
Also, if Home is not complete ass, a few mons should get Knock Off back.
All in all, don't feel bad for using Corsola, it's a cool defensive mon.

They had to have known what they were doing when they intentionally gave Corsola better defensive stats than its evolution. I feel bad for Cursola, a really cool mon that's only purpose is to exist so Corsola can use eviolite
