honestly the fact that gen 3 and 4 only had the pokemon bobble while swapping from 2 frames is sad, most gsc mons had a lot more.

On a side note, I never noticed that Gamefreak actually tweaked its sprite for Platinum. Seems redundant for a pokemon that wasn't even on the regional dex.

Absolutely love this sprite. I love the shiver before it spews out cold air. I like the Kyurem Fusion animations for the same reasons, but this was geared towards fav pokemon + sprite

Houndoom's my favourite Pokemon but man some of its Sprites are shit, Silver, Crystal, DP & Pt are all shit sprites for it, its Gen III and HGSS/Gen V Sprites are fine although the former is almost never seen because Houndoom's basically non-existent in Gen III and the latter just isn't as good as the Gold Sprite.

Looks like it's about to yell at it's child for doing something bad. All the old sprites have such good little details. How is it that 16bit sprites can convey how badass a pokemon is where 3d just can't?

I've seen people argue the original RB Mewtwo sprite is weird, uncanny and unnatural, but that's probably why I'm so fond of it.
