Years of neglecting JRPGs and playing only FEH has made me a stat whore, so going back into Pokémon Sun, I want to build the most idealized team with insane stats, preferably whatever is available in the wild. Legendaries take a while.

What are your recommendations, /vp/?

It's really not that complicated to breed for the perfect nature and perfect IVs and EV train. Just google it.

It's pretty bad, not because of the game but because it's a very very mediocre port.

If you have a PS Vita or PC, those are the best Disgaea machines. 5 is pretty fun but 4 is probably the biggest game and the most accessible one without penalizing difficulty.

Legitimate question: why the fuck are you playing Pokemon for ""insane stats"" when everything has a very arbitrary limit and optimizing your Pokemon is more about resetting/breeding than actually raising them?
Play Disgaea for big numbers.

If you're going to emulate it, emulate the PSP version since it's more complete and has voice acting.
Also Disgaea 1 is only so-so for the grind since it's pretty slow going, get Disgaea 2 Dark Hero Days which has a ton of QOL improvements and makes the grind way faster.
Though the best games to grind are Disgaeas 4 and 5 as >>41736744 said.

Musharna is another Godlike one and so is Oddish into gloom into Bellosom, Bellosom gaining early access to quiver dance is busted at that point of the game.

To put it bluntly, Musharna, Bellosom and Arcanine got simple evolution methods, are available early as fuck and break the game.

Props to Raichu being better than Jolteon for once and Drednaw/Boltund being absolute units that evolve at level 25 thanks huge Jaws, boltund can Nuzzle utility too and has decent offenses for a Pokemon with that speed stat and natural high damage output for an electric type.

Faster as in the systems are faster since you can skip animations, Disgaea 1's grind is actually kind of short but because of how archaic the mechanics are it takes way longer than it should.

The other great thing about Disgaea 2 is that it has content all the way up to the level cap and more content past that, I put nearly 300 hours (probably more) into that game. God damn that was a good grind.
