It's my favorite water starter line in like, ever. So much personality and interesting shapes, it's very stricking. I have a feeling it was designed by the girl that does the Houseki no Kuni manga, something about Inteleon reminds me of her elegant shapes.

It's ok. I wish it could learn more moves before being fully evolved. I guess they were going for the "it gets a bunch of new tools when it becomes James Bond" theme, but Sobble and Drizzile have basically nothing in their learnset. Not even the most basic ice moves that almost every water type can learn are there.

Probably will improve my opinion of this line if I have Sobble in my game, but I didn't think I will ever be used to its design despite unique personality. As others say, it do look weird at some angles. From what I see of videos with Sobble, it's like Primarina by being a great starter for single player gameplay. I guess it's why people like Sobble line so much because it just make the game easier for them.
I still prefer Rillaboom designwisely and can't wait for Cinderace's hidden ability to come out.

I blame Inteleon's name for this. You could just argue that Sobble line as whole is based on both chameleon and basilisk lizard, the latter is usually associated with water. It's nothing new for a pokemon to evolve into one that's based on complete different animal, see Cyndaquil line.
