So is Galar right next to Kalos separated by a channel just like UK and France?

Also if theres going to be a gen IX then what countries would you like to see regions out of? Personally Id like to see Italy, spain, or maybe one of the scandanavian countries? I think South Africa would be cool too.

It’s a shame since India has such a rich history and culture. It would make for many cool pokemon too. I’ve actually been there and it’s actually quite nice. Outside of Delhi and Mumbai (where most of the problems are) the people are all friendly and the food is fantastic.

The ranger games covered chunks of them, but there's still the area north of Kanto and South of Sinnoh, and the area between Johto and Hoenn's respective areas. I'm honestly curious how GF would handle the area around PokeHiroshima, if it would at all be like the desert in Unova.

From what I have watched doesn't seem more detailed than the very usual Johto and Hoenn regions. Galar is the odd one out for being so bare bones.

I dunno, the Italian rival and professor are cool, the ideas for maps towns and biomes are also really nice. The Elite Four being on the palace of London with it's gardens as a Victory Road seem like a rather cool concept that we packed on Galar, as well as referencing the Roman conquest of Britain in the evil team.

Unova was based mostly on japan, china, and france.
It's new york only in the sense that oh hey a generic building that vaguely resembles something in new york, oh hey japanese shinto shrines, and japanese ruins let's go over there now.

It was okay but he said the theme of the games would be purity/corruption or something like that and there's a way better evil team that could've fit for a theme like that. Roundheads and or Cavaliers. Seeing as the story concerned corruption from within the England region's government the inspirations from the civil war and the war of the roses would've been easy. Instead the Roman villain team felt like a repeat of the villain team from his Scandinavia region video.

I don't care what country the next region is based on but stop making it based on an entire country (most of a country in Kalos' case), just do a single region/principality/county/prefecture/province/territory/state or two if you're doing smaller ones, focus more so on taking the individual quirks of that region instead of making a theme park version of an entire country, shit like Kalos and Galar don't feel like real places because of how they've tried to condense an entire country down to 10-15 cities and towns with a few routes sprinkled inbetween while still trying to satisfy the generic environmental themes of the region (badlands, snowy, forest, grasslands, etc.), as a result the only elements even remotely identifiable are landmarks that would show up on the most basic of a tour across that country and leaves the region feeling very surface level in terms of intractability. Also if you're going to do another oceanic region don't pussy out on the fucking oceanic routes this time.

One thing that he does that I really enjoy is breaking big cities into different regions like routes. It seems so obvious but adds a lot of depth and content to them.
