He's my favorite Gen 1 Fighting type. It pisses me off though how no one else in this thread is gonna give any acknowledgement of his existence.
It also pisses me off how this current Gen 8 metagame absolutely destroys any hope for him to be a team player with usage. And I say this as one who experimented using him competitively with some decent success in Gen 7 with Z-Move Focus Punch. Fucking Dracovish and Galarian Corsola are pretty much the biggest of culprits that lock the door to strategy for Hitmonchan and many other lesser Pokemon to make use of. Fucking Gamefreak.
