-Camping is still possible thanks to Allemansrätten, but you cook pea soup instead of curry.
-Story is, government party that looks like they're out to support all pokemon, when really they just have passed laws that makes it super easy for the government to use people's Pokémon for selfish reasons. They're led by a cult leader who wants to summon a legendary Pokemon to cause a war.
-Rival is a rich bitch who starts out as a great supporter of the villainous people, but ends up turning around once she finds out what the villainous people did to her parents when they disagreed.
-Actual good guys are a vigilante team that breaks into government faculties and frees Pokemon, they are villified in the media.
-Uppsala = The city where the Elite 4 dwell, in the ancient halls where Pokemon battling has been studied for generations.
-At least 3 of the 8 gyms can be challenged in any order.
-HMs are back, but they’re used out of battle and doesn’t affect your Pokemon’s ability to learn less moves.
-Exploration. So much exploration only possible after you gain HMs. Areas include a castle ruin, a stone-henge like monument built past a field of viking tombs, and the forest grows infinitely more filled with groves and stuff once you learn ’cut’.
-Clothing style is ’elegant’. Everything is preppy to the max. Blazers, dresses, button-down shirts, etc. Also, thanks to gender equality or some shit like that, men can wear anything women can. and vice versa.
