Say you start with Torkoal or ninetails, you set up sun, then stealth rock, burn or sleep, then you keep going until your mon faints and you bring in Draggy, with a bunch of varied moves, and sweep by throwing up choice spec attacks, then keep it up. In singles, the psudeo legendaries are used because they have high stats, but their move sets have almost no status moves outside of Dragon Dance, which is specifically used for special attacks against physical attackers.
