>>41758907I don't represent all of /vp/, but I definitely prefer fakemon games, especially ones which are entirely fakemon. Discovering and learning about new mons is infinitely more interesting than constantly finding old mons that I already know everything about, even if the fakes aren't that great.
As for music, custom music is great when it's actually up to a professional standard, but most of the time it isn't. If you're a sucky composer like me, just steal tracks from the real games, nobody will care.
